Tabs in Salesforc
You can create new custom tabs to extend Sales-force functionality or to build new application functionality.
Custom Object Tabs look and behave like the standard tabs provided with Sales-force. Web Tabs allow you to embed external web applications and content within the Sales force window. Visual force Tabs allow you to embed Visual-force Pages.
Navigation:
Setup....>Build....>Create....>Tabs....>New
Step1....>Select object,Tab style,Description
Step2....>Add to Profiles
step3....>Add to Custom Apps
Step4....>Save
